The straight pipe pressure balance expansion joint is divided into three forms: bypass type axial pressure balance type, straight through type axial pressure balance type (collectively referred to as straight pipe pressure balance type), and curved pipe pressure balance type (also known as bent pipe pressure balance type).
The bypass type and through type pressure balanced expansion joints are mainly used to absorb axial displacement and balance the pressure thrust of corrugated pipes.
The curved tube pressure balanced expansion joint is mainly used to absorb axial and lateral combined displacement and balance the pressure thrust of the corrugated pipe.
Structural principle:
The pressure balanced expansion joint is a corrugated pipe structure, consisting of a pressure balanced corrugated pipe and a compensating corrugated pipe inside. By balancing the pressure of the bellows compensator through a pressure balancing bellows, the self thrust of the compensator and the pipeline is relieved.
Usage:
The straight pipe pressure balanced expansion joint fundamentally solves the problem of blind plate force on the thrust of fixed supports, thereby simpli fying the design and construction of fixed supports. The pressure balanced expansion energy-saving compensation pipeline system compensates for axial displacement, and the internal pressure thrust balances itself. This product is applied to high object position pipelines where fixed supports are not suitable.
Installation and usage precautions:
When installing, the drain port should be facing downwards.
After on-site installation, the pull rod must be removed.
The flow direction of the medium during installation is consistent with the flow direction mark of the pipeline expansion joint.
Calculation of support force:
Axial elastic force: Fx=Kx * (f * x)
Kx - axial stiffness N/mm
Actual deformation in X-axis mm
F - Calculate the coefficient, where f=1/2 for pre deformation (including Δ X=0) and f=1 for non pre deformation.
