The double hinge expansion joint of the air cooling island vacuum pipeline has a directional ring with two pairs of mutually perpendicular hinge structures in the circumferential direction. The designed universal ring, hinge, and pin can withstand the thrust formed by internal pressure on the expansion joint, so it can absorb angular displacement in any plane. Usually, when absorbing displacement, two or three combinations should be used.
